Gas Safety is one of the most important factors in having a safe home and work place. The gas safe register is here to make sure you don’t fall into the trap of paying for illegal gas work with your health, or possibly your life. All of our Gas engineers are Gas Safe registered.

Case Study: Fields The Jeweller, Republic of Ireland

WAYS FM successfully tendered to implement a Preventative Planned Maintenance Schedule for Fields the Jeweller.  Fields The Jeweller constitutes of 14 jewellery stores across Ireland from Dublin to Galway.  Our successful bid consisted of:

  • Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting Quarterly Maintenance.
  • Fire Extinguisher Annual Inspections.
  • Roller Shutter Annual Inspections.
  • Monthly Inspections from a Qualified Handyman.
  • Air Conditioning Annual Servicing.

Utilising our broad network of approved contractors across Ireland we were able to offer these works at a competitive price to the clients desired timescale.  We quickly pulled together schedules for the works ensuring minimal disruption to the client’s operations, with any remedial works either carried out whilst engineers were onsite (with client’s approval) or quoted for and sent to the client along with statutory certification.

Implementing this schedule of preventative planned maintenance will no doubt prolong the lifespan of the clients’ assets, reducing breakdowns and downtime and ensuring statutory compliance is maintained.  It can also help identify issues with assets before a breakdown and the resulting downtime.
